Election 2012: Barack Obama 42%, Ron Paul 41%

Pit maverick Republican Congressman Ron Paul against President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 election match-up, and the race is – virtually dead even.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of likely voters finds Obama with 42% support and Paul with 41% of the vote. Eleven percent (11%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided. Continue reading

Obama Hits New Approval Rating Record Low – 22 Per Cent

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 22% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. That matches yesterday’s result as the lowest level of strong approval yet recorded for this President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19. Continue reading

As Congress Begins Recess, Voters Give It Weakest Ratings Since Early February

I forgot to post this last week, but it’s a great Rasmussen article/poll about the current Congressional Performance and how americans see things. Some of the poll results caught be by surprise (specifically that only 39% surveyed thought Congress was corrupt) but the rest are pretty dead on.
