I Hate It Too! Well, I Just Hate IT ALL |2020

I first became aware of Hum in either 1996 or 1997. I got the CD (yup, back then we used CD’s) around the time of the release of the album in April 1995. First, it was “Stars”, then I heard “I Hate It Too”.

Stars, it’s such a fantastic song. I don’t want to under or oversell it, it’s just… I think “I Hate It Too” is so much better. There is so much more life and texture to it.

Call it the series of transitions that happen in a track. They really do a fantastic job of changing the beat on a number of occasions. Check it out, hear it for yourself.
