The Halcyon And How It’s Takao’s Fault |2020

The halcyon is a strange and unique thing. It knows no bounds on the basis of the context which it holds, it is never-ending yet finite. It is and isn’t, how purple of it.

halcyon: characterized by happiness, great success, and prosperity: GOLDEN —often used to describe an idyllic time in the past that is remembered as better than today

The track itself is pretty technical, enjoyable, and very well remixed by the folks that brought us The Saint circa 1997. Damn, I’m old.

The “official” video does no justice to the track, so instead, I will limit this to just a musical representation from the actual CD, linked down below.

Don’t get me wrong, this holds nothing to my soul except the transitions and inclusions 5:49+. It’s a fun song, but very hard to label.

Check out the Youtube video for Orbital – Halcyon (live).

I don’t even think there are cogent lyrics that I can attach here, so I’ll leave it at this …

Takao Konishi when I brought him home, our first day together

Oh, yes, I also have an extensive, very extensive amount of tattoo time.

And yes, I know that Youtube is Killing Videos – 2020
