Unsung, Nothing You Do Will Ever Be Enough |2021

To be unsung is to not be celebrated or praised. And to quote the lyrics, “To die unsung would really bring you down”. I think that speaks clearly.

I remember hearing Unsung circa 1993/1994 thanks to one of my musical influencers, I was enthralled by just this one song. It’s an amazing combination of heavy metal with heavy, heavy bass work.

Over the years, I’ve revisited the track and each time it’s hit me in different ways. Often it’s when I feel a certain way. As if my mind was predisposed to make me listen to it.

And of late, there’s a reason for it. And that’s all there is to it.
