I’ve been a Sepultura fan since the ’80s, the first time I listened to Arise I was blown away.
“Territory” is a special song, very political but you have to see the video to get it. Well constructed lyrics, but the best part is the outro. 4:10 and crunchy time.
And if there’s one thing I love about metal, is the crunchy parts. Oh how I love some good grooving riffs, sans vocals, pounding it down.
You know, back before it, music was an autotuned math formula. Then again, has it ever really been about the art and not the money? HA! I think I just wet myself lol’ing.
The less funny thing is, I haven’t even touched on what caused me to think of the song and then post this. Neo-Fuedal Tribalism. Yup, a kastle original.
Yup, the world we live in. Morty’s killing Morty’s, y0.
Unknown man
Speaks to the world
Sucking your trust
A trap in every wordWar for territory
War for territoryChoice control

To manage your angerWar for territory
War for territoryDictators’ speech
Blasting off your life
