Depression views from afar

I’ve been talking with someone lately who is extremely depressed and very down on themselves. They don’t think they’ll ever be with someone again, that no one will love them again because they are depressed. My comment to that person was this :

There is no such thing as never, nor is there such a thing as impossible. They are just constraints “man” puts upon himself to limit that which “he” can do. It’s very important to understand that constraints are in your mind, shackles that bind you. You allow them to happen.

*Personal epiphany at this point.
