I assisted my boss in conducting an interview today to a technical professional, and I hardly, if ever, as a technical question in these interviews. I prefer non-standard make you think questions. This one has baffled many a interviewee :

If you had to choose between Integrity, Intelligence or Honor, which would you select and why?

Typically I get a good thought out response. Today, it was different. The candidate decided to argue with me that Integrity and Honor were the same thing. I tried to nicely let him know he was mistaken, but he was insistent.

Integrity is the basing of one’s actions on an internally consistent framework of principles.
Honor is an objectification of praiseworthiness, respect

Oh well, he didn’t get the job …
