Top X FANTASTIC AWESOME Pink Floyd Solos |2020

A few years back, the Reverend and I had a friendly, spirited, and jovial chat while performing a pub crawl about Pink Floyd Solos.

We started discussing the Top BESTEST Pink Floyd Solos while drinking, from bar to bar (with a designated driver). And while we didn’t always agree, this is for you Sir.

So, what makes a Pink Floyd solo a “Solo”? Is it the heart it says to you? Or is it the heart that you feel?

Perhaps, just perhaps it’s what music actually is when done at least properly? Hell if I remember, we drank for a very, very long time that day. It was indeed my first ever crawl and I’m glad I shared it with him and our other friends.

But the memory of that experience will always be us discussing Pink Floyd Solos. It may have been the first time I realized just how well versed the Reverend was.

And I will ALWAYS be appreciative of your willingness to have an open dialog about music, discuss ideas and thoughts as adults, and while we didn’t specifically agree on everything, that’s being a human.

I think the biggest take away for me was how much more respect I gained for another human just having a conversation. How amazing is that?

Thank you Reverend, you have been an inspiration to me for a VERY long time, longer then you possibly know.

The List
Comfortably Numb
Money
Hey You
Time

Debated
Another Brick in the Way II
Echos, Live in Pompeii
Dogs

I have additionally disqualified (for myself at least) any instrumental tracks like Any Colour You Like, mostly cause we didn’t agree on the parameter then and I doubt now too.

I probably could go on, and while not specifically in an order, they are broken in part of reverence of agree and debated.

Agree? Disagree? Open a dialog with those around you, ask them their favorite solos. There are no wrong answers, there are just conversations to be had. You have to just keep talking (aka the song).
