It’s Wednesday, you know what that means! Mr. Brodie Lee, you still amuse the fuck out of me, being one of the most amazing humans to have ever lived. And there are A LOT who feel the same.
Mr. Brodie Lee… Jonathon Huber, you were the Man amongst the Giants. You were the Man amongst all. Your love for your family should be the BAR to be measured against.
Jonathan Huber (December 16, 1979 – December 26, 2020) was an American professional wrestler and actor. He is best known for his tenure in WWE, where he performed under the ring name Luke Harper (later simply Harper) from 2012 to 2019, and All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he performed under the ring name Mr. Brodie Lee in 2020.
He was the Exalted One. He was that which made the Dark Order something. He was a gifted entertainer and anyone who graced his presence knew it. Except for WWE management.
There is a reason I am posting this, but it’s when I’m posting it that’s almost as important. September 29th, 2001. That’s the reason. It’s special. It’s nearly sanctimonious, perhaps appropriate.
On September 29th:
There’s no reason for me posting this aside from how much of the biz has played a role in my life. Jon Huber was an amazing human, incredibly underutilized and underpromoted by WWE or NXT. He was well-proven anywhere he was promoted.
But, no matter where he was, no matter whom he knew, he was so well revered as the amazing human he was. The human he was was is better than any of us are, we can only strive to be such an amazing human as he was.
He was one of the most amazing, charismatic, intelligent, family-loving humans. We can only hope that -1 is 1/100th the human as his father. And -1, I hope to Zeus that he’s got in him.
Mr. Brodie Lee was a Wyatt. A fucking god damn good one. Along with Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, and Braun Strowman.

And now, the reason I wrote this. I hope that Windham Rotunda does something amazing on September 27th, 2021, in Mr. Brodie Lee’s hometown of Rochester, NY. One can hope that the Fiend, that he can do right by the Exalted One.
And we know that no one can be as fucking fan-fucking-tastic as the Exalted One, nor can one be as sadistic and creative as one Bray Wyatt. This is the chance for that world, that world to take the next step.
Just like CM Punk’s intro made the world become so much more electric, Mr. Brodie Lee’s hometown introduction of Bray Wyatt is a must. Yes, a MUST. If they don’t, WE RIOT!
I know AEW is far less inclined to fuck things up than some shit show ass clown leadership. But hey, it’s a Wednesday night, and you know what that means!
