Until the Trilogy from Repentless, I perceive P&RB to have been the only combo track Slayer had really done. For fucks sake, they performed it on Falon.
Regardless, the crunch start’s around 2:11. It is hypnotic. And more importantly, it sets the tone for the ending of the song, which in itself is something.
Slayer will always be something important in my life, my backstory. Nothing will change that, nothing can diminish it. They are a strong part of my musical lineage. Music washes the dirt the dust of everyday life.
