I know (suspect) that Tim Pool doesn’t read my blog, one could suggest it would be a huge waste of his time. OK, hopes and reality don’t always intersect.
But, during the other night (28 September 2020) Timcast IRL, Tim Pool uttered a phrase that was something like “low information” and then dissing on angry people.

Low Information + Angry People = 2020. No Shit Right?
It gave me pause and I set forth on devising a methodology wherein I could explain what 2020 is. While I will not be writing a math proof here, I have this idea.
I allowed my mind to expand, to explore the idea. Within moments, I recalled that I had written a couple of posts that reflected my feelings on the topic.
Below are two posts in particular that came to mind when I really started thinking. How I do love that feeling.
Disdain
I feel sadness for you. You are empty. Dead in all ways because all you are is hate. You bring darkness. In the end, you add nothing but waste.
You, you are the problem and for that, I feel disdain.

Hate Speech is fictitious. Hate Speech is Free Speech. There is no such thing as Hate Speech.
What are “Low Information Voters”?
Low information voters, also known as misinformation voters, are people who may vote yet are generally poorly informed about issues. The phrase is mainly used in the United States and has become popular since the mid-1990s.
What’s an “Angry People”?
This could mean several different things. People lost their jobs, lost loved ones, been locked in their houses, have had to deal with so much stupidity in the world. That is a lot.
This has seemingly pushed people down a very bad path and we can see it with the meme of “A Karen“.
Karen is a slang term used as an antagonistic female character in memes. “Karen” is generally characterized as an irritating, entitled woman, sometimes as an ex-wife who took custody of “the kids.”
And Then?
If you take people who are off the rocker because of 2020, and you fill them with complete and a two-minute cursory look for the information you can find the facts.
But people aren’t doing enough (any) fact-checking nor does it appear that any “journalist” is doing the same. They’re just pumping out garbage and gutter trash. Sadly, I have to fact-checkq my friends because they are incapable of reading.
I’m not gonna go on and on about the instances that this has happened to me recently with my friends. Former co-worker friends *ahem*
I can say things involving Ted Cruz, the requirements for appointing a supreme court justice, somebody’s tax payments, and the ever-expanding slanderous comments made against various groups of people.
So, And Then?
If you combine angry people whose lives are a mess with people who have a low information level due to ingesting news that borders between inaccurate or completely false, you get 2020.
People do not want to verify the information to be true, there is no reaching them. They will continue to be uninformed or misinformed. They will refuse to fact-check information.
People do not what to research anything, at ALL. They are trapped in their neo-feudal tribal echo chamber, nothing more. NOTHING!
It’s systemic from within our education system and the enablement society that has no real discipline. That is another topic that I’ll find some time to really explore. Soon.
I don’t think it’s the kind of thing that you can even correct at this point, people just need to wake up. Everybody just needs to Wake Up.
And yet, no one wants to. Everyone is stuck inThe Matrix.
